The HI-520 Concrete & Mortar Moisture Tester utilises a high-frequency measuring method. The sensor unit is integrated with the main unit, thus making it compact, lightweight and easy for single-handed use. By setting the thickness and temperature on the correction dials and pressing the unit lightly against the object to be measured, the moisture content is quickly displayed. This unit contains an internal microcomputer that automatically performs temperature correction, so measurements can be performed without worrying about changes in the measuring environment. The HI-520 can measure moisture to an average depth of 40mm, so moisture differences between the surface and interior of the object can be considered. The HI-520 is also equipped with an alarm and hold function, making it even easier to use.
